“Jeremiah 29:11”
If god himself came down here and told me I would have left my 6 figure tech start up job in November and now feeling the entrepreneur tug to really take the leap and do this thing full time I would have replied and said “now? like right now?!”. About 4-5 years ago I was walking around (also praying this) that I would retire from corporate america by 30 years old. Yes, thirty young years. Not remembering God hears me, always. He gifted me that transition a year early. It was a blessing as soon as it happened! I felt it in my spirit it was in fact time.
So here I am pictured at a friend’s event in downtown wilmington. The event was focused on finances and being a good steward of such; excellent event! I’d say this was my first time out in awhile. But so needed and I felt more like myself than I have in the past 6 months.
But enough about me and my current episode of life… lets get into the outfit. This winter season screams early 2000s traditional holiday colors and a bit of tacky in our decorations and I am loving that.
This green sweater dress was thrifted from an awesome store in reading, pa. Community aid has a couple locations within the pa area and completely worth the drive. Boots were thrifted from a local shop which I unfortunately cannot remember at the moment (sorry gals). Annnnnd, one time for the bag and accessories.

Dressing up your handbags is so underrated and i’m glad I caught that bug about a year ago. Adding some personality driven charms to a bag takes it from 0-100 honestly.

pictured here I have a bandana ($1.25 from Dollar tree) and two charms, gold hardware and silver. I bought the gold charm from target (roughly $10) and the silver ones from Hobby lobby. Sidebar for my christian girlies, hobby lobby is my go to for anything Jesus based that I am looking for! I never thought Id find a “i love Jesus” charm as cute as this one.
side-sidebar: I do like to mix my hardware/jewelry but thats another topic for another day.
Anyways, I am really looking forward to January 2026. May the blessings continue to flow in!

Sienna.

It was sooooo saturday in the air. the perfect winter saturday.

I really thought that I would write 1-2 sentiments for december. boy, was I wrong. i feel like december has been so eventful and full in the best ways. this past saturday was soooo saturday. iykyk!
I had planned to walk through a christmas market in downtown west chester. That did not happen due to horrendous traffic and attempted parking. Circling blocks for at least 35 minutes. It was such a crisp winter morning, what else would I be doing? I’ll try again next year lol.
One time for the bag and glasses. I really wish I knew where the glasses were from but they came by way of my mother. She knows her daughter!

Saturday was truly an errands type of day filled with giving and well needed family time. Before heading to Jersey (jersey girl 4lllll) I headed out to buy toys for a local toy drive that happens every year for Christmas. Its actually a non profit organization called Community cares, ran by some of my dearest friends. They give back every year and its always a baked in task for me to contribute some how in the month of december. Is it just me or does giving fill you all the way up? Its an indescribable feeling tbh.
to have a village you will in fact need to be a villager. one of my greatest lessons learned.
Later in the day I shared the best thai food I think i’ve ever had with two of my cousins (who are quite literally parts of my heartbeat). Bhan thai (in mt. laurel, nj) was the restaurant. Needed conversations happened and im so thankful for a circle like the one I have.
wise counsel, sound counsel.
Family truly is all you have at the end of the day and im sure id never want to trade that in for anything else.

Home decor and fashion are literally the same thing. different moods. follow me here (yes, in another chapter of my life i host tedtalks. this is my tedtalk until further notice)

found this kenneth cole bedspread (came with two shams and throw blanket; fancy right) at dd’s discount. my sheet set if I remember correctly was also from dd’s. This was a good day at dd’s clearly lol. revamping my bedding cost around $50-60 not including the new pillows I needed. I’d say thats a huge win.
I woke up this morning realizing my house is not as holiday-ish as I would like it to be. As it usually is any other winter season. something was missing! I sat, prayed, and reflected. came to the conclusion it was my bedspread. So then I got to thinking, you are not using your free will correctly. Why not have a bedspread for each season? GAME changing ladies.
and here’s the thing, you do not need to spend a zillion dollars on them either. Some places I love to shop for home essentials + decor are: DD’s discount, tjmaxx, homegoods, and marshalls. But my near and dear to my heart of a store I have never played about issssssss…boscovs. If i need something regarding my home I will find myself in boscovs before anywhere else. It also reminds me of my grandmother, so its a nice trip down memory lane as I shop. Boscovs prices are also so economically friendly. The prices just make sense and honestly, the quality is better than some other stores we like to shop!! don’t sleep on boscovs.

OH and a good candle. I was able to find two Christmas themed candles that really brought my entire room and ambiance together. It’s half way through december so things were beginning to be slashed and on sale. I think I spent around $13 total for two candles (gabe’s). Gabe’s discount is another goodie for home decor and clothing.
side-bar: any of my girlies who love carhartt or have blue collar hubbies, gabe’s carries at a significantly cheaper price.
Safe to say I went to sleep feeling complete because my home felt like a winter postcard now. a win is a win
Can’t wait to show you what my spring bedspread will be. meet me back here in march for that.

God spoke. cosmetology school?

today i had the pleasure of touring the paul mitchell school of delaware and it went fantastic. I have always had a niche in beauty and all things hair. definitely clicked sophomore year of college when I began to learn how to braid my own hair. Do you know just how much money I have saved by doing this? It honestly a moment of stillness and therapy for me now (all 8-12 hrs lol). but anyway, I toured this cosmetology school and cried at the end of the meeting/admissions portion. Why? it just felt right. I prayed so deeply in the parking lot before walking in and all of my questions were answered by the end of that hour inside. I said to myself, I think this is next steps! That felt good too.

my picture moment became our picture moment lol. Princess is in fact a princess. I mean look at her big pink bed (its all my fault of how spoiled she truly is).

Looks for less has always been my speciality. You dont have to spend $12939343854.344 dollars to achieve a solid, quality look. If we were to tally this above ensemble it would come to under $100 (not counting the kurt geiger bag, that is sooooo optional).
I have a strong fashion sensing that flats and ballets are for sure back in style. not coming back, but already back. I think these were my favorite piece of the outfit. I felt so grown lol.
One thing I really want to touch on in this post is how I carry my handbags. Its been asked so many times how I carry them in a clutch kinda style when they are actually made to be crossbody or shoulder.

It may seem a little tacky but to be so honest with you, I am a normal everyday girl with a normal- everyday life. I like to keep things simple. so no, its not a fancy purse tie that I make this look happen. a good ole hair tie! For some reason my bag charms sit perfectly when I wear my purses this way. I hope you are able to try it and like it <3.

gas to goodwill.
Its about 3pm eastern time and I’m sitting here in awe of two pairs of boots on a random not so random Tuesday. That entire statement was random; I know. I have this horrible habit of not getting gas before I’m at 10 miles or less so I had to get gas at the nearest station from my home, which is also about 1 minute from a goodwill store. A goodwill store thats really focused on homeware but also does have shoes and accessories like belts and purses. Im assuming you are gathering what happened here after I put gas in my car. Can you believe I found these?

Now I couldn’t find any name brands on these (yet, I’ll look again). but one time for the boots. These are unique yet staple pieces. too bad they are not my size! They are for sale on my poshmark storefront <3.

I try my best not to be a gatekeeper (guilty from time to time lol). The goodwills in lower delaware are my favorite but this one is great too. Located in Wilmington, delaware. Address is above in the last photo.
I can’t wait to find these boots a home. some girly out there needs them!
